Live like no one's watching.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what that means, but the thought fascinates me...

I love this one!

To me, "live like no one's watching" means being un-self-conscious, completely lacking in vanity. My pastor gave a great sermon once about the 3 uber-sins of pride, sloth, and vanity, and he defined vanity as being concerned with how you look -- not just physically, but also "doing good deeds to be seen by men" and being concerned with how others view you. I think everyone falls into this trap of being concerned with what other people will think, when really our only concern should be with what God thinks and how His glory and reputation are made known in us.

So there's my take. :-) Live life as if the only Person whose opinion matters is God, and He already made you and is making you to be how He has purposed.

And yet how hard it is to actually live like that! I mean, I want to live without constantly being concerned what other people thought, but I rarely do. Why is it so hard, I wonder?
